011 Final Weeks of Preparing

Alright, let's make this official. Earlier this year I made a bold decision. In a couple of weeks, weather permitting Sea Marie and I are casting off our dock lines from Cedar Point Marina and setting our course for the open sea... the long way. Up Detroit River, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, Chicago, Illinois River, Mississippi River, Ohio River, Cumberland River, Tennessee River, Tenn Tom Bigbee Waterway, Mobile, Alabama, Florida. Fly or drive back home for the Holidays then return to finish up the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway. About 6000 miles of USA waterways.
AGLCA (America Great Loop Cruisers Association) burgee arrived. Still, much to do. Someone once said Luck favors those that are prepared. I certainly hope so.
